Have you ever thought about the differences between electric airsoft rifles and spring airsoft rifles? Have you had the thought that springers are cheap and electrics are expensive? Alright then, let’s take a quick peek at these two different airsoft weapons.

When it comes to the main objective of airsoft guns, which is looking like real guns, you have this element both in springers and electrics. Of course there are some cheaper made springers that are made up of common plastics, but still, the life like look is still attempted. Springers made of low grade plastic are usually very cheap, and most airsoft players would deem them to be toys, rather than real airsoft guns. Now there are some cheaper versions of the electric airsoft rifle, ones that include lower grade plastic like the cheap springers, but getting a higher end, full metal of high grade composite plastic is really the way to go. You’ll have more fun due to the gun performing at a higher level, and it will last a lot longer.

So there you have it. Chiefly, the difference is in the firing mechanism. The springer is manually cocked, and the electric is cocked by an electronic device powered by a battery source.
